Matt Pilsner > August 12, 2008 (2 of 2) Saffron -- The World's Most Expensive Spice I had the macro lens out and ready, so I kept looking for small things to shoot. I was looking through the spice rack, and came across my small supply of saffron. Does anyone really have a large supply of saffron? Anyhow, I looked through my stack of colored origami paper to find something with a little contrast or something that would compliment the beautiful reds, yellows, and oranges of the saffron. For some reason, I chose the fluorescent green. I think it works...
