My view in Pre-Op for 5 hours.
I was originally scheduled to have surgery at 11am, so I was told to check into the hospital at 10am. Within 30 mins I was wearing one of those beautiful hospital gowns and had the IV started. 11:30am rolls around and I'm told that my doctor was still in surgery on the patient that was before me. Finally my doctor comes out, only to tell me that the OR staff wanted to switch the order of patients so that they didn't have to rearrange the OR. Basically, they had to switch from the arthroscopic gear to the giant "C-arm" X-ray machine for me, and then they would've had to switch back to the arthroscopic gear for the next guy. Anyhow, I got bumped back and didn't end up in the OR until 3:30p. The nurses let me have my phone to call people, and I managed to grab this snapshot while I waited...

I caught Mia Hiding behind the vertical blinds in my living room today. She was just soaking up some afternoon sun when she heard the camera clicking and looked right at me.

I played around with a bunch of post processing with this shot. This is a simple Sepia version that I really enjoyed, but here's another version with some color. Tell me which one you like better.

With 3 photos today, I officially made up for the last 2 days that I missed.
