Matt Pilsner > June 17, 2009 I tried out a new bar tonight. The BT Bistro is a really swanky place with a nice raw bar. I'm not into raw food, but it looked like a nice selection. (small... but nice) However, the shrimp in the foreground of this pic are cooked, not raw, by the way.

Matt Pilsner > April 23, 2009 Colored Bubbles This started as an attempt to wipe the dust off of my macro lens. This isn't as close up as I originally intended, but these ice pops looked much better with some light from underneath.
Matt Pilsner > April 11, 2009 My gin and tonic is broken... My friend Lindsay came over for some schnitzel tonight. I was drinking a couple of gin and tonics, and she held my flashlight under the empty glass for some cool lighting while I took a shot of the ice.

Matt Pilsner > February 4, 2009 SNOW!!! It's still not enough snow to satisfy me, but we did get about 4 inches of snow last night. When I went to get the mail this morning, this light post was still illuminated, so I tried to use it as an interesting background with the bright blue sky. Thoughts?? Matt Pilsner > July 15, 2008 Ice Cube Trays (Photo by: Martha Beggerly) There was an impromptu party at my apartment where my camera came out for a little bit. Martha (one of my interns from the opera company I'm working for) was getting artistic with some things around the apartment. I thought this shot was pretty cool, so I posted it. The lighting was from a flash, so it's not that great, but Martha definitely has an eye for composition.
