Matt Pilsner > June 7, 2008 Backlit Kiwi Slice I must say that I think this shot looks pretty cool. Unfortunately, the guy from the restaurant in LA didn't want this one! That's ok though, I took this shot before I knew that he was just looking for macros with no skins in the shot. This shot was kind of a pain in the butt. I had to get the kiwi sliced pretty thin in order to get a lot of light through it, but when it's very thin, it doesn't want to stand up on its own. I would manage to get it standing and then by the time I got back to the camera, it had fallen over. I have to reshoot it with no skin, so I'm going to be creating some sort of toothpick tripod. How fun is that?

Matt Pilsner > March 4, 2008 Kiwi Strawberry Nothing too exciting, I just happened to have both kiwis and strawberries in the fridge, so I got out the trusty macro lens, and started shooting. Here was option 2 for the day.
