My next lens purchase is going to be a 50mm f/1.4 but this photo is making me second guess that... Tomorrow's photo is an easy "guess what it is." I hope it's not too easy, but It's hard for me to determine that when I know what it is.
Matt Pilsner > October 17, 2009 A rainy leaf on the hood of my truck. I didn't have my macro lens on me, so this shot is a bit cropped from the original. I think it also lacks some of the clarity that my macro lens provides.

Matt Pilsner > May 25, 2009 This was actually an interesting accident. I put blue gel over my flash, and I ended up with a really blue photo. Once I desaturated the blue channel, this is what I ended up with. I think this lacks an interesting composition, but I'll definitely be using this technique again.
