Matt Pilsner > October 18, 2009 (2 of 2) A Leaf on my Windshield I love the fact that my macro lens goes down to f/2.8! But sometimes, I regret it. I really wish I had more DoF in this! My next lens purchase is going to be a 50mm f/1.4 but this photo is making me second guess that... Tomorrow's photo is an easy "guess what it is." I hope it's not too easy, but It's hard for me to determine that when I know what it is.
Matt Pilsner > October 17, 2009 A rainy leaf on the hood of my truck. I didn't have my macro lens on me, so this shot is a bit cropped from the original. I think it also lacks some of the clarity that my macro lens provides.

Matt Pilsner > May 25, 2009 This was actually an interesting accident. I put blue gel over my flash, and I ended up with a really blue photo. Once I desaturated the blue channel, this is what I ended up with. I think this lacks an interesting composition, but I'll definitely be using this technique again.

Matt Pilsner > October 27, 2008 Corn from the Maize Maze. A couple of friends and I went to Terhune's Orchard today to pick out some pumpkins for the Annual Punkin' Carvin' Party at McCarter. We went through the pretty lame Maize Maze, and I was so bored I stopped to take pictures of corn. Then I cheated and climbed over a fence to get out of the maze.
