I finally sorted through all of the paperwork from my hip replacement surgeries. This stack of paper is less than half of the original stack. I decided to throw out all of the hospital brochures and information pamphlets that I didn't need. Now I know one of the reasons why healthcare is so expensive... They print all of these pamphlets in color on fancy glossy paper.
I took this shot with my Macro lens that has been in storage for a few weeks.

My roommate has been studying, and leaving his books all over the dining room. It was 90° in NJ today, so I was too hot and bothered to do anything but sit out on the porch and read a book and eat ice pops.

Hidden Meanings
This shot was actually inspired by a photo I saw in a magazine. I do that often, and I'm not exactly proud that I copy ideas from other places. Sometimes I just don't have any creativity flowing through me. This photo actually looks nothing like the photo I saw in the magazine.
Here's an alternate shot of the book.

Finding time to Relax.
This is a macro of the get well card I got when I got home from the hospital (a week ago today).
Today is also the first full day of work I had to endure. Fortunately, my arthritis was nearly non-existent this morning, so my 13 hour day at work wasn't so bad. I think I have physical therapy to thank for that.

Jury Duty

I got my first ever Jury Duty notice yesterday. It's not scheduled until January, but hopefully I'll be able to get out of it... I don't have a problem doing my civic duty, but does it have to be a time when I'm busy with work?
