Crocus in Princeton. They're not any smarter than a Crocus in Texas.
All I had on me was a wide angle lens today, so this is what I ended up with. I would've loved to get a macro of this, but it's good to branch out once and a while.

Same tulip, but finally in actual sunlight.
The last 2 tulip shots were lighting from various incandescent and fluorescent sources. It was a very nice, sunny day, so the camera went outside.

The same tulips from the other day in different light...
I haven't had the motivation to go out much lately.
My leg has been hurting a little more than usual. (Thanks to a lack of a prescription drug)

Red Tulips with leaves that my cats managed to chew off in a matter of minutes.

Flowers on the table with some side light from a flash.

Nothing fancy today, this was a last minute effort to get a daily photo.

Good news is: I found my missing tripod piece.

Other good news is: It snowed a little bit today, so hopefully I'll have a decent picture of snow tomorrow.

On another note: Lindsay thanks you for all the kind comments about her smile in yesterday's portrait of her.

Purple and White Calla Lily

I saw these at Whole Foods today and just had to have them. (I guess that makes me kind of gay, doesn't it?) I've never seen a two toned calla lily before. (Or maybe I have, and just didn't have the photographic state of mind that made me want to buy them.)

Here's some more shots of these lillies. I'd love your comments!

I've also been teaching myself more about sharpening in Photoshop. Thoughts? Is this photo too sharp?
