I actually hate this spice. I'm not a fan of licorice, which is pretty much what this stuff smells like. The ground up spice in the background is actually cinnamon, which I used to cover up the licorice smell.

Saffron Jungle
I had the macro lens on and my lights still set up from yesterday, so I started looking around the house for something small and colorful. The little bag of saffron on the spice rack called me name.
I've photographed saffron before. It's a very interesting and colorful subject.

Cinnamon Roll-Ups

Today we have another new stock photo with an edible subject. Does this make anyone crave some hot cider? You know, the kind with a little rum in it and a cinnamon stick stirrer. 'Tis the Season (Very soon...)
