Here it is, Ladies and Gentlemen!
This is a photo of a laser printout of the x-ray that was taken about 5 mins after I woke up after surgery.
The tubes on the left going into my hip went to a hemovac, which basically sucked out any extra blood in that area for the next few hours. Then they actually put that blood back into me.
I'm currently able to get around my apartment without any walking devices, although I feel more secure with a walker, so I use it anyhow. The physical therapists would be mad if they knew I was walking without the walker...

6 weeks away from my hip replacement.

This is a photograph of a laser printout, so it's rather poor quality.

My Screws Hurt
I've been having a lot of pain in my hip over the past few weeks, and it's to the point where I can't walk without pain. Here's an x-ray that was taken last Friday. You can see the difference in the joints, but apparently that's just degeneration that's probably not causing the sudden onset of pain. I have an appointment with an orthopedist, but the earliest he could see me is Dec 17th. At what point should I just go to the emergency room?
