Matt Pilsner > September 13, 2008 Yes, I was wearing a tie! I forgot to take my camera to work with me, so I didn't get any cool shots of the opening night festivities. (There really wasn't anything too interesting anyhow.) Sooo, when I got home I decided to take a quick SP. It's not the greatest, but after a few beers, who really cares about how sharp the focus is!
Matt Pilsner > January 12, 2009 The talking pistachio. The sun was coming in the window at full force and washing itself all over my bowl of pistachios. I took the opportunity to handhold a macro shot at f/8, ISO 100. I was shocked that it came out this clear. There's a lot of photographic experiments I've been wanting to try (like drops in water, and incense smoke, etc), but I haven't had the motivation to set everything up. My surgery is this Thursday... Do you think they'll let me take my camera into the operating room? I could put a tiny little sterile gown on it.
Matt Pilsner > September 17, 2008 I washed the Duvet on the new comforter yesterday, and Dynamo found his way onto the nice, white, down comforter. I was so mad that he moved and his ear got cut out of this shot, but his eyes were so huge that I had to post this anyhow. Everyone seemed to like his eyes in yesterday's shot, so I posted some more. On a side note: I got a call yesterday from a guy that wants to buy more fruit photos. And I was asked to photograph my friend's wedding in July. So Awesome! I'm so excited.
Matt Pilsner > May 1, 2008 BAILEY My Roommate's Girlfriend just got a puppy. While she was at work, we stole Bailey to take him for a walk around Princeton's Campus. It was more of a "carry" instead of a walk. He was really tired, and just wanted everyone to stop and pet him. HERE'S A LINK to more photos of Bailey. Let me know what you think of them. I sort of wanted to get a "photo session" for him. (Puppies grow up too fast.) Here's a Sepia version of this photo, but I'm not sure if I like it. It seems rather blah, but i feel like it has a little more mood to it.

Matt Pilsner > November 7, 2008 Just playing with the Macro again. I'm running out of interesting objects to get macro shots of. I found a pack of needles, and decided it was a good desperation shot for the day.

I'm sure your all sick of looking at fruit as well. This picture was a little bland in color, so I swapped it to sepia, and I'm much happier with it. Matt Pilsner > Feb 15, 2008 You've seen this before. I tried again with my macro lens today. I like the DoF, but I think I went a bit too far... Unfortunately, I didn't have my tripod, so I had to use ISO800 to get anything good. I uploaded this at work, so there's no photoshopping to it. I plan on posting a few other shots in my macro gallery later tonight.
Matt Pilsner > January 19, 2009 Snow! I was excited to see a little more snow today, even though we only ended up with maybe an inch. Today was the first time even bothered to go outside in a few days, so I took the camera with me. I know it's a boring shot, but it was a dreary day.

Bailey came over for another visit last night. I'm honestly sick of fruit, so I was glad to have some shots of something cute. I'm sure your all sick of looking at fruit as well.

This picture was a little bland in color, so I swapped it to sepia, and I'm much happier with it.
