The Leaves are Changing!!
Bring on the Snow!
Fall is my favorite season, with winter coming in at a close second. I hope this winter brings lots of snow. The last few years have been really weak.

Purple and White Calla Lily

I saw these at Whole Foods today and just had to have them. (I guess that makes me kind of gay, doesn't it?) I've never seen a two toned calla lily before. (Or maybe I have, and just didn't have the photographic state of mind that made me want to buy them.)

Here's some more shots of these lillies. I'd love your comments!

I've also been teaching myself more about sharpening in Photoshop. Thoughts? Is this photo too sharp?

Dynamo

Because Alex asked about my cat's the other day, I realized it's been a few weeks since I've posted any shots of the cats.

Dynamo is a very gray cat, and he tends to be hard to photograph. He always ends up looking flat and boring, so I usually add some sort of PP.

Here's some more shots of Dynamo. The first 5 are new.

Thanks for all of your comments on the Eastern State Photos!

Cinnamon Roll-Ups

Today we have another new stock photo with an edible subject. Does this make anyone crave some hot cider? You know, the kind with a little rum in it and a cinnamon stick stirrer. 'Tis the Season (Very soon...)

A Luna Moth that I named Frank...

I came home from a BBQ the other day and found this huge Luna Moth on the wall. I recently read about capturing them and putting them in the fridge to slow them down. This guy wasn't very active, so I didn't bother with that. He let me move him around and put him on the floor so I could get a picture of his fuzzy face.

Here's a few more shots...

The Keg Inspection
There's a big superbowl party at my house tonight. I had to get the keg early because I have to work this afternoon. As soon as I put the tap on, Dynamo had to come check it out and make sure everything is ok for the party. Then I tapped myself an ice cold beer at 11am. What a beautiful day...

I went for a 3½ mile walk on the towpath by the D&R Canal in Princeton yesterday. There wasn't any interesting wildlife to photograph like the last time I went out on the path.

This is a shot of the handrail on the bridge where we finally decided to turn around. I took about 6 shots of these bolts. Each one had a different bolt in focus, but I found this one most eye-catching.

Hillary, I don't have any caterpilars in my shot, but how do you like my little corner of bokeh?

An emotional shot from the dance show last night. I only took about 5 pictures last night, so I was glad that one of them came out OK. Here was my alternate/obligatory macro photo for the day.
