Smack Down!

I got some actions shots of the cats tonight during the Eagles game. That's about it.

Dynamo went to the vet today. He officially weighs 16.5 lbs! Apparently his paw is almost the same size as Mia's head...

Blue Champagne
I had off yesterday and decided to meet some friends at the bar last night. I'm a regular there, so they decided it was time to test out some new drinks with me. The goal was to find a drink that uses up the leftover cases of champagne that they have. This particular drink is blueberry vodka, blue curacao, and champagne. It was pretty nasty, and was promptly given the name PukeMaster 4000. Another drink they made was the Bald Headed Slut which was Jagermeister and Champagne. I'm one of the few that actually likes the taste of Jagermeister, so I considered a pretty tasty drink.

Not just your ordinary whisk, this one has a cat toy in the middle.

Fly Tongue

So there was this slow fly that was flying around my living room. I managed to catch it before the cats did. I put a drop of honey on some paper, and waited for him to get stuck in it while I put the macro lens on.

Once he freed himself from the honey, the cats had a field day. R.I.P. Fly...

I lead such an exciting life, don't I?

Here's some other shots.

Yes, I was wearing a tie!

I forgot to take my camera to work with me, so I didn't get any cool shots of the opening night festivities. (There really wasn't anything too interesting anyhow.) Sooo, when I got home I decided to take a quick SP. It's not the greatest, but after a few beers, who really cares about how sharp the focus is!

The talking pistachio.
The sun was coming in the window at full force and washing itself all over my bowl of pistachios. I took the opportunity to handhold a macro shot at f/8, ISO 100. I was shocked that it came out this clear.

There's a lot of photographic experiments I've been wanting to try (like drops in water, and incense smoke, etc), but I haven't had the motivation to set everything up.

My surgery is this Thursday... Do you think they'll let me take my camera into the operating room? I could put a tiny little sterile gown on it.

I washed the Duvet on the new comforter yesterday, and Dynamo found his way onto the nice, white, down comforter. I was so mad that he moved and his ear got cut out of this shot, but his eyes were so huge that I had to post this anyhow. Everyone seemed to like his eyes in yesterday's shot, so I posted some more.

On a side note: I got a call yesterday from a guy that wants to buy more fruit photos. And I was asked to photograph my friend's wedding in July. So Awesome! I'm so excited.

BAILEY

My Roommate's Girlfriend just got a puppy. While she was at work, we stole Bailey to take him for a walk around Princeton's Campus. It was more of a "carry" instead of a walk. He was really tired, and just wanted everyone to stop and pet him.

HERE'S A LINK to more photos of Bailey. Let me know what you think of them. I sort of wanted to get a "photo session" for him. (Puppies grow up too fast.) Here's a Sepia version of this photo, but I'm not sure if I like it. It seems rather blah, but i feel like it has a little more mood to it.

I got some shots of the cats today. They were annoyed, as this shot proves.
